He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary, earning a degree in Biological Sciences before moving to Texas to pursue his Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston. His clinical training focused heavily on community-based care with an emphasis on managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. In addition to primary eye care, Dr. Amir has a strong clinical interest in specialty contact lenses and enjoys helping patients with complex visual needs achieve comfortable, clear vision.
